He holds a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (1986) and a Technologist in Systems Analysis and Development (2019), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (1991), a PhD in Computer Science (1999) from the Federal University of Pernambuco, a Post-Doctorate from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Nova de Lisboa, Portugal (2006) and Post-Doctorate at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2008-2009). Currently, she is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco, acting as a Board of Directors, in the Finance and Undergraduate Infrastructure Board of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Federal University of Pernambuco. She is a collaborating member of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) at UFPE and a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Computer Engineering (PPGEC) at Poli/UPE. She has experience in the area of ​​Electronic Engineering / Teleinformatics and Computer Science with an emphasis on Software Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: Requirements Engineering, Agent-Oriented Development and Aspect-Oriented Development, Model-Driven Development.
